How do i persuade my parents to get another dog?

You just said your stress levels are through the roof. it seems to me as if you are missing your old dog a lot and are just trying to fill a space. That is not they way to go about it. And your parents are right, they don't need another dog, when you leave it will be THEIR responsibility. Not yours. Don't be selfish.
