Should teachers be allowed to call your hair scruffy?

It wasn't appropriate for the teacher to make that comment about your hair. However, we live in America and everyone has the freedom of speech. We can't start passing laws saying what a teacher can say and not say when it comes to a conversation. So to answer your question: Yes, a teacher should be allowed to call your hair scruffy. But that doesn't mean she should!
