Would you have given this guy money?

I would have looked at his appearance and concluded that he has a drug problem and was looking for easy money to buy drugs. I would have thought he proabably comes from a good family and is now living in his car. While his situation is a sad one, he is not my responsibility and I do not owe him anything. If his story is true and he is a responsible, upright, model citizen then why didn't he have a credit card?
