Anime or Manga Suggestions.?

Ok this might be too specific but i want an anime where the guy doesn't look like a wimp (no glasses either) and a girl likes him but the girl also has a friend who dislikes him, usually a little bit more sporty/violent but starts to like him too; kind of like the manga Dousei Recipe and some others i cant think of right now. Or maybe some suggestions you think i would like.
