Is Chuck Schumer a wimp for not calling for Anthony Weiner's resignation?

People on TV have mentioned that when a Democrat is caught, Republicans call for their resignation and when a Republican is caught the Democrats call for theirs. Since Clinton both political parties have been caught with their pants down more than once.
