Do you think that the one who pays all the bills in and on the house should be able to dictate how the house?

is run? When I got married three years ago I was flat busted and still am. I married into money, not just wealthy but heavy money. It was made clear that I should not work as in the circles that I now live in people don't work as they live on their incomes. My wife picks out all the furnishings and decorating, The house and cars are in her name and even the clothes that I wear I have purchased through her account. Don't get me wrong, I am no wimp which was what attracted her to me in the first place and her family like me a lot as well but am I being true to myself? I told her the other day that I am going to move on and make myself another life but everyone ganged up on me and after a load of tears etc I have decided to stay a while longer but I know that I will go in the near future. Do you think I am doing the right thing even though I know that it will break her heart?
